A website that provides an online portal for bands to promote themselves, sell merchandise and build up a fan base. The Client requested a website that had a clean professional but fun design aimed at attracting bands to sign up. The bands can promote videos, songs and gigs through the website and also be able to sell their merchandise online.
This is a very large project which has a specific audience. The requirements for this website are huge, from different level user signups through to full content managements, community forums and the integration of online payment gateways.
This project is a great showcase to the flexibility of our content management system. It also will showcase are easily customisable e-commerce system as fans can buy their favourite bands merchandise via an online shop.
The site will include areas for bands to sell their music and merchandise online whilst also informing fans of where there next gigs or tour is going via their own profile page. There will also be forums and blogs for online community building.
Using our content management system, payment gateways, valid and accessible XHTML and CSS, this site is our largest project yet.
We are also doing an extensive internet marketing campaign for this project, from normal SEO work to social media and viral marketing.
