The client had four project aims:

  1. To get more enquiries and increase conversions from the website.
  2. To be able to manage the website and edit content easily.
  3. For visitors to be able to check the availability of the cottages.
  4. The ability to showcase each individual cottage 38+ cottages.

To meet the client’s aims we implemented the following online strategies:

  1. We fully re-designed the website focusing on conversion techniques, usability and accessibility. We created a graphical and attractive design highlighting the beauty of the surrounding landscape to help encourage enquiries.
  2. We implemented our Professional Content Management System for easy and flexible editing and management of the website.
  3. We integrated an availability search function for the website where visitors could search for cottages via date, no. bedrooms and whether pets are allowed or not.
  4. We created Light Box JavaScript photo galleries for each individual cottage so that visitors could see the properties in closer detail.

The improved site design, using our conversion techniques and graphical galleries, has improved online conversions. The client can easily manage the properties online as well as keeping the site up to date via easy editing, saving them time and money. Visitors are now able to easily search through the properties and their availability increasing their return rate to the website and increasing usability and functionality.
